2009 Yoga loveFest Intro:
Yoga LoveFest with Todd Tesen
A brand-new invitation for celebration awaits you in Athens from NYSY Studios and its team of international yoga teachers and guest presenters: Join the YOGA LoveFEST, on February 14 & 15, for a weekend of inspirational speeches, yoga practice, music, chanting, dance, healthy meals, and meditation—all aimed, simply, at the heart.
OPEN the Heart
AWAKEN the Spirit
TRANSFORM the World
That is the message of this unique happening. For the first time in Greece, great teachers from very different yoga schools and traditions gather for a meeting of hearts and minds. The message is “interconnectedness.” See and feel how connected humans really are with each other, nature, the environment, the animal kingdom, and the world at large.
Experienced yogis as well as beginners can practice different styles of yoga and meditation from the classical Indian Satyananda tradition to the very modern American Power Flow, and experience for themselves the beauty and commonality of all these traditions. Join us this weekend at YOGA LoveFEST, a true celebration of togetherness.

Vivi Letsou
teaches a yoga style that combines the alignment principles of Anusara Yoga with the flow of dynamic yoga and zen meditation. She began her practice in California 25 years ago and had the good fortune to study with great teachers, being especially influenced by the founder of Anusara John Friend, and Rusty Wells, creator of Bhakti Flow. She derives constant guidance and inspiration from her meditation teacher, Reb Anderson, a true Zen master. With her husband Eraj, she directs NYSY Studios, a lively center in the heart of Athens where great people meet to practice yoga and pilates.
Swami Nirvikalpa or Nirvikalpananda, (Ms. Olga Alexiou)
has been the director of Yoga Studio Marousi since 2002. Drawn to the spiritual path in 1984, she devoted herself to yogic path, joining the Satyanandashram in Greece. She studied the Satyananda system at length, at the Institute for Higher and Superior Studies on Yoga, in Bihar, India, headed by senior teacher Swami Niranjananda. She is the Vice-President of the newly-established Yoga Trainers¢ Association in Greece.
Swami Sivamurti Saraswati

She is recognized by the International Yoga Fellowship Movement as a yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga). From her main base at the Paiania ashram, she travels in various Greek cities and abroad to lecture on yoga. Todd Tesen
a certified Anusara Yoga teacher, from Los Angeles, began his intensive Yoga practice 17 years ago with Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. Discovering Anusara in 2001, he has studied extensively with Anusara founder John Friend, and with Dr.Douglas Brooks, one of the world¢s leading scholars of Hindu Tantrism. He travels internationally to teach workshops and Anusara immersions. His teaching is playful and uplifting, creating a sound support where the students can ask of themselves what is truly possible and how deeply they wish to know their hearts.
Rusty Wells
is a yogic messenger in San Francisco and beyond. He infuses his joyful, energetic, and often mind-blowing classes with his belief that we can best serve others—and heal ourselves— through unconditional love and devotion. To this end, he passes along his profound gratitude for breath, body, and mind through yoga¢s time-honored practices. An experienced instructor and humble student, Rusty teaches regular and free classes in San Francisco, and leads teacher trainings, retreats and workshops around the world. His classes are an experiential explosion of music, sweat, stillness, and energy that will open your heart and leave you overflowing with bliss.
Georgia Psyhogiou
has completed the 200 hours teachers training - Hatha yoga & Bakhti flow with her beloved teachers Vivi Letsou, Rusty Wells at NYSY STUDIOS. Through her practice, she was awakened to the incredible balancing benefits of yoga – both physical and spiritual – which changed her life and set her on a path to share her love and experience of this beautiful practice by becoming a teacher. Georgia is grateful to have been taught by many amazing teachers including, Vivi Letsou, Rusty Wells, Todd Tesen, Martin Kirk, Desire Rambaugh, Noa Maze, Petros Haffenrichter, Emil Wendel, Diane Long, Dylan Bernstein. She guides students to play their edge mindfully, and with compassion, to go deeper.
