ONGOING 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
If you are holding a 200 Hour Yoga Certification recognized by Yoga Alliance, you can apply for the NYSY 300 Hour Advanced Training Program.
After completion you will be eligible for the:
• NYSY Studios, 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification
• Yoga Alliance, Certified Teacher 500 Hour program
Steps to follow:

Application to NYSY Studios. Application fee: 30€ for NYSY 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training graduates. 50€ to graduates of other 200 hour programs.

Choice of extra study, or teaching Specialization You will be asked to focus deeply in a specific area. This can be anything that interests you, something that you want to study more in depth or explore in practice. It could be theoretical, like the Sutras, or the Bhagavad Gita, or practical, like studying, teaching Pre-natal, Anusara, Bhakti Flow, or even practicing deeply pranayama and meditation. You will be asked to talk and write about your experience in this area.

Mentor relationship with Vivi Letsou, 30 hours to a year Teacher Assistant in a minimum of 30 classes, or, 6 months of work/practice/study program in communication with Vivi.

Attendance in Workshops/Trainings for Teachers, 270 Hours You can choose among any of the NYSY Workshops that are particularly for teachers:
• Emil Wendel, Pranayama, 18 hours
• Adjustments for Teachers, 10+ hours
• Anusara I, 36 hours
• Anusara Immersion II, 36+ hours
• Anusara Immersion III, 36+ hours
• Anusara Anatomy, 12 hours
• Yoga Therapy, 20+ hours
• Prenatal Yoga, 30-40 hours
• Rusty Wells Bhakti Flow, 35 hours, and/or
• Rusty Wells Bhakti Flow II, 30 hours
• Seminars on Chakras, Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, classical texts.
Note: A minimum of 136 of these hours have to programs with Vivi Letsou, like the:
• 2008 Anusara retreat in Crete with Todd Tesen: Spanda Karikas, 36 hours
• May 30, Nature Yoga Retreat for teachers with Vivi Letsou: Sharpening our Teaching Skills--The Art of Being Better Yoga Teachers
• August 7-14, Mani Yoga Retreat and Anusara II Immersion with Vivi Letsou and B.J. Galvan
• Other programs and retreats to be announced

Karma Yoga –a project of love, minimum 20 hours of service A program of your choice where you dedicate some of our teaching free of charge to benefit a person or a group of people in need.
Upon completion of steps 1-5, and an interview with program director, Vivi Letsou, you will be awarded your NYSY 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification.
