A complete-balanced workout for Pilates Teachers and serious Pilates Practitioners

Both the Reformer and Wunda Chair are excellent, versatile equipment for practice. Each offers the capability for a wide array of exercises and a huge amount of variety. Choosing exercises and apparatus wisely is one of the keys to success. At times the Reformer would be the apparatus of choice, and at times the Wunda Chair. It is important to know when to choose which; their unique qualities and their unique attributes. The Reformer and Wunda Chair compliment each other well, and using them together offers the opportunity for the ultimate blend.

2. Pilates Mentor Program, June 25, 26, 27

18 Hours of Advanced Pilates Education
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9am-4pm

This course is the first phase of Ultimate Pilates, Rael’s voyage of discovery to the extreme edges of the Method with the most accomplished of his colleagues and students. The Mentor Program is for the seasoned professional who wants to hone her/his teaching skills and study at the highest levels of the Pilates method. During this very personal experience, Rael shares the skills and lessons he has learned in over three decades at the peak of the profession.

Day One - Module 1
Primary concepts covered include teaching methodology, the art of cueing and cueing as a process, as well as a discussion on higher principles. There will be group and/or private sessions with Rael. New repertoire will be taught on the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Step Barrel.

Day Two - Module 2
Concepts covered include exercise progression and programming, the Block System, programming for different populations, program progression and selecting the appropriate level for clients. New repertoire will be introduced on the Reformer, Wunda Chair and Cadillac.

Day Three - Module 3
Concepts covered are exercises analysis through movement, muscle testing, movement observation and analysis, and advanced level work as a goal. Implementation of these concepts will be discussed. More new repertoire will be introduced on the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Step Barrel and Ladder Barrel.

Prerequisites: Completion of BASI or other recognized comprehensive teacher training program and minimum of 3 years experience teaching (2 years for BASI qualified teachers)

1. For BASI CTTC graduates: Please enter the location and date of your CTTC course.
2. For non-BASI teachers: Please specify the Pilates institution you studied at and the date you completed the course.
